i'm on youtube watching something and my brother comes in and interrupts my peaceful video watching, so im a bit peeved..

me: hmm, i was thinking about going and getting her balloons since i dont have a first period and i have a car, but i think it's gonna rain..
her: wait, but her birthday is on a wednesday.. we dont have first period on wednesdays
me: no.. her birthday is tomorrow..
her: no, it's on february 8th, that's wednesday.
me: it's on february 7th, and that's tomorrow.
her: no! she was talking to david and she told him her birthday was february 8th!
me: THAT'S BECAUSE SHE WAS TRYING TO TRICK HIM!
her: oh. well. she tricked me instead.

crazy day of ups and downs.
let’s start at the very beginning (a very good place to start) <— (you’re awesome if you get that reference)
7:30AM: wake up. pick up CATCHING FIRE to finally finish the last fifteenpages or so which i left off last night cos i HAD to fall asleep before the ending !
8:00AM: finish my book. freak out for 10 minutes.
8:45AM: get to school. extremely depressed about...
The Walkman
My 8 year old cousin is playing around with her iPod after a Girl Scout meeting.
Uncle: -Motioning to earphones- Come on, put away the Walkman, it's time to go.
Cousin: -Gives him the most innocent, quizzical look ever-
Uncle: Put away the iPod, Mikayla.
Cousin: Ahaha, OH, I thought you said Walkman.
